The T-Series consists out of the T-4408 and T-4000 products.

The T-4408 is ultra-compact 1U C/DWDM transmission system for data-rates from 100 Mbps - 4.25 Gbps. The T-4408 offers full 3R regeneration for all protocols and performance monitoring for Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel Services. The T-4408 is suitable for applications like:

- 4x/2x/1x Fibre Channel and FICON
- Gigabit Ethernet
- SDH/SONET/ATM (STM-1/OC-3, STM-4/OC-12, STM-16/OC-48)
- ESCON
- Infiniband
- DVB-ASI
- EPON and GPON.

The SmartOptics T-4000 series is a very simple and flexible unit that combines protocol transparent connectivity with support for SFP optical transceivers. The design of T-4000 makes it easy to implement a wide range of signal boosting and media and xWDM conversions all in a small and compact 1U high unit including two separate power supplies.

The E-Series is a cost-effective, scalable multiservice aggregation and transport platform designed for service providers' fiber optic networks. It utilizes Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) to aggregate high-speed protocols on one wavelength and transports them at wire speed over 2.5 Gbps and 10 Gbps signals. This method optimizes the needed number of wavelengths in the network and lowers the overall cost of DWDM and CWDM networks.
The E-Series can transport 10 Gbps wavelength over distances of 200 km without requiring expensive regeneration sites.
