Fibre Cleaver CT-100
The CT-100 is designed for cleaving silica fibres from 80 to 250 micron cladding. The CT-100 is equipped with a motorized diamond blade that touches the fiber after tension has been applied providing high-strength cleaving capability. The diamond blade provides consistent cleaving quality and the cleave length can be modified from 3 to 40 mm. The cleave angle is adjustable from 0 to 15 degrees. It runs on AC or battery power.
Fibre Cleaver CT-32
The CT-32 is a modified version of our standard cleaver model CT-30. The modifications allow use of a spacer system that provides for the full range of acceptable cleave lengths for use with our factory fusion splicer models. The CT-32 also allows for a reduced cleave length of 8mm on 900μm jacketed fibers and as short as 3mm on 250μm and 400μm coated fibers. Included with the CT-32 is a 1mm spacer that allows for the recommended cleave lengths for use with our factory fusion splicer models. An optional 2mm spacer can be purchased to expand cleave length options.
Fibre Cleaver CT-38
The CT-38 cleaver is designed for cleaving silica fibers with 80μm cladding. Utilizing the same one step design of our popular CT-30 cleaver, the CT-38 is quick, easy, and dependable. The 16 position blade yields 48,000 cleaves by providing for blade height and position adjustments. The cleaver can be used with either the FSM-45F & 45PM fiber holder system or with the optional AD-30A adapter plate for other applications.
Automatic Preparation Machine APM-100
The APM-100 achieves high speed and reliable preparation of the optical fiber before splicing. The APM-100 automatically operates coating stripping, cleaning and cleaving of the optical fiber.There certain steps to prepare optical fibers before splicing;
(1) Stripping fiber without degrading fiber quality,
(2) Cleaning fiber with alcohol to remove coating residue,
(3) Cleaving fiber with right angle.
The APM-100 does all these processes automatically with high consistency. The APM-100 is suitable for factory and industrial automation systems.
Hot Jacket Stripper HJS-02-80
The HJS-02-80 is designed for stripping silica optical fiber with an 80μm cladding diameter. The HJS-02-80 is equipped with a heater, which softens the coating of the fiber for smooth stripping. The HJS-02-80 accepts the FH-40 and FH-100 series Fiber Holder System.
Ultrasonic Cleaner USC-02
The USC-02 Ultrasonic Cleaner is specially designed for fast and efficient cleaning of the fibre ends before splicing.
Using ethyl alcohol as the cleaning agent, the USC-02 is ideally suited for use in factory and OEM applications where there is a need for efficient cleaning of the fibre before splicing. The USC-02 is dedicated for use with Fujikura's very own FSM-40, 50, 60 and 100 Series fibre holder systems for high tensile strength splicing.
The USC-02 has a built-in timer which can be set from 0 to 99 seconds, it's compact in design and weighing just 1 kg is also ideal for field use. The cleaner incorporates its own 50 KHZ Langevin type vibration unit for fast thorough cleaning. It has a cleaning tank capacity of 24 to 36cc and includes an external AC adapter.
Recoater and Proof Tester FSR-02
The FSR-02 Recoater and Proof Tester, which boasts the latest
technology for recoating the bare-glass region of an optical fibre splice or a
fibre bragg grating.
The FSR-02 has two functions: firstly it recoats the UV curable
resin over the bare-glass region, then proof tests the optical fibre to verify
the spliced fibre strength. These two functions are especially important in
submarine cables and optical fibre modules.
The FSR-02 is superior to existing recoaters and proof testers,
claims Fujikura, in that rather than using a linear translating die to extrude
the UV compound along the length of the bare-glass spliced region, it
automatically injects the UV resin into the mould by a special pump.
The FSR-02 achieves excellent recoat results by use of a
two-part mating quartz glass mould that provides a circular cross-section mould
cavity lasting up to 10,000 recoats. The performance of the proof test is
variable and programmable up to 20N and if the splice breaks during the proof
test, the operator is automatically alerted by a buzzer alarm. Reliable and
complete curing of the UV material is assured as the FSR-02 has a UV sensor
monitor which automatically compensates for lamp intensity by adjustment of the
UV curing time.
The Fujikura FSR-02 is user friendly with a typical cycle time
for injection and curing of just 25 seconds. It has 30 programmable recoating
modes with data storage for the last 100 recoating operations.
